Can you believe it?

Wow, what a game.

I flew in last week to see the family and enjoy 45-yard-line seats to the Virginia Tech-Nebraska game. The last-minute 16-15 win was the second best Hokie game I've ever seen in person. Here's a photo of Jeff, Keevin and I enjoying our favorite game day beverage.

The night before I flew out of Cali, I went to the Hollywood Bowl and saw the Killers. Great show, and they had a surprise opening act - the Psychedelic Furs!

Turning 42 in Vegas

Well, I took my quarterly trip to Vegas - this time to celebrate my and Jerry's 42nd birthday.

Although we both turned 42 on Aug. 30, we all went out Saturday, Aug. 29 for the big party. Of course, we partied five hours into the 30th!

Here's a shot of the group at the beginning of the night. We're at the Peppermill, a cool old Vegas bar. Again, we were out until 5 a.m.

Of course, my Facebook friends have already seen more photos there.

Tchaikovsky at the Hollywood Bowl

video

Four of us went to the Hollywood Bowl Saturday for wine, a picnic, Tchaikovsky and fireworks.

Enjoy this video of the crescendo to the "1812 Overture" that ended the show.

Great trip

I had an above-average trip to Virginia. I flew there for eight days, spending time in Marion and Newport News, where I went to college.

Here are some pics from Marion. I'll post some NN pics when a buddy of mine, Chris, gets them to me.
