I drove the BMW up to Las Vegas for the weekend to meet friends, hang out - and check out the DD's anniversary party Saturday night. We had a blast. Check out the video pan of the bar as one of the bands, the Tinglers, do a cover version of Jimi Hendrix's "Fire."
We stayed with Carly (pictured), a friend and former coworker from Hawaii who's now a designer at the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Sunday, I did some shopping and, at night, we went to an old-school Vegas bar, the Pepper Mill. It's right on the strip, with intimate seats around a propane fire pit shooting up out of a bubbling pool. Only in Vegas! I drove back Monday and immediately hit spinning class for my sins...
